JOB PURPOSE
This position provides advanced technical, clinical and clerical support within the Imaging department. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, conducting patient screening, assisting patients during procedures, maintaining supplies, and supporting technologists as needed. This role also includes remote cardiac monitoring for patients undergoing MRI when they are off nursing units.

Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery. Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interacts with nursing employees in regards to patient nutrition needs or requirements. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Serves as a member of a surgical service line team by assisting in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital, as well as evaluating pre and post-operative patients in the office setting.
