Qualifications
Education- Graduate of a nursing program Required
- Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree Preferred
Work Experience- 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting Required
- Previous supervisory experience desired Required
- Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in assigned unit(s) Required
- 5 or more years of experience in various perioperative areas (addendum for Surgical Services only) Required
Licenses and Certifications- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications- Valid BLS certification Required
- ACLS certification may be given unit specialty (if , see addendum) Required
- Advanced certification in field of specialty (if , see addendum) Required
- NRP certification (Women's Services) Required
- ACLS and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (L&D only) Required
- CCRN (Critical Care) Preferred
- OR/PAT/PREOp/PACU – CNOR, CPAN, CAPA certification. If not certified, must obtain certification within 12 months of hire date Required
- SPD – CSPDT or CSPM certification. If not certified, must obtain certification within 12 months of hire date Required
