Serves as a member of the critical care team by assisting in the management of critically ill patients in the hospital. Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to all ICU settings in which they practice. The Admit Recovery (ARU) RN plays a pivotal role in patient care, acting as a bridge between doctors, patients and families.
The Admit Recovery Unit RN is part of a supportive, collaborative team that provides superior patient care, in a highly skilled, fast paced environment. The ARU RN is responsible for pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery of invasive cardiology patients, receiving clinically advanced, lifesaving Cardiac Cath, interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology procedures.
