Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
This position develops content strategy based on the needs of Piedmont's Brand Growth department. Working with key stakeholders (marketing and brand strategists, marketing coordinators, internal communications and public relations), this position is responsible for managing the master brand growth editorial calendar. This role is responsible for the social strategy, development and maintenance of Piedmont's social media accounts. This role works closely with the internal agency (Slate Creative) and outside agencies to make sure campaigns, messaging and visuals are in alignment and accomplish strategic goals.


Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree is required.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience with content, creative, social and/or strategy in agency or client side.


MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, understanding and experience in using various marketing tactics, including market research, advertising, community relations, direct mail, collateral, design, digital media, event planning, etc.
Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research and information architecture best practices.
Working knowledge of all modes of communication including print, digital, photography, video, social media channels, verbal presentations, activities, and grassroots efforts.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all roles within the brand growth department.
Must be creative, versatile, self-motivated, takes initiative, driven, detail-oriented, and responsive.
Position requires strategic thinking and strategy development.
Must have strong understanding of current and emerging marketing and media technology platforms. Experience or familiarity with modern science-based marketing approaches (e.g. Lis Binet & Peter Field, James Hurman/Cannes Lions, Byron Sharp, Mark Ritson etc).
