RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAVs, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience as an HVAC Tech.
For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include two (2) years of commercial/healthcare
HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Conditioned Air Georgia State license (Non-Restricted, or Restricted)
EPA-Universal Certification
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Vocational School preferred.
