Advanced Practice Provider - Advanced Heart Failure PRN - Piedmont Augusta

 

The Advanced Heart Failure Center (AHF) at Piedmont Augusta is a well-established program with an excellent track record for patient success and outcomes. We are growing at a fast pace, and are looking to expand our advanced practice provider team with motivated and qualified individuals that desire to learn and grow with our program. The Piedmont Augusta AHF program provides comprehensive advanced heart failure care in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting. 

 

Shift:

PRN - Days/M-F or 7 on 7 off (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

Responsibilities

The Piedmont Augusta AHF program provides the following services:

  • Advanced Heart Failure Outpatient Clinic and Inpatient Consultative Services
  • LVAD Implantation and Outpatient Clinic
  • Cardiac Amyloid Care
  • Genetic Screening
  • Pulmonary Artery Hypertension Care
  • Remote monitoring for Heart Failure
  • Cardio-oncology
  • Heart Failure Research
  • Post COVID follow up
  • Cardiac Transplant Evaluation
  • CardioMems® Implantation and monitoring
  • Right Heart Catheterization
  • Cardiac Biopsy

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PA:  Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board

or

NP:  Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing

 

Preferred Qualifications

More than two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (not required)
