Overview
Responsible for assuming administrative responsibility for all areas/functions of the Perioperative Services Division on a 24/7 basis including, but not limited to, pre-procedure testing, Pre-Op, Main OR, Ambulatory and Minor Surgery, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, and Central Service.
Develops policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility.
Develops the capital and operating budgets for Perioperative Services Division. Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed, including interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.

Qualifications
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or another related field Required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field Preferred
Work Experience- 5 years experience to include three (3) years of progressive management/leadership experience Required
Licenses and Certifications- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure If a Registered Nurse, must have current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License Required
- Certification in area of clinical specialty Preferred
