The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the coordination, direction and planning of all medical affairs within the hospital and assuring continuing operations and clinical functions remain in accordance with policies and standards set by the PHC Board, PHC Management and/or Medical Staff.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
A medical degree from an accredited university.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Eight (8) years of experience in a healthcare setting, to include experience serving in medical staff governance process (served on MEC, credentials committee, peer review or board of directors) or significant designated leadership responsibility such as service line leader, department chair or group medical director is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Candidate must be a licensed physician in the state of Georgia.
