Overview
The Athletic Trainer provides care to clients in need of sports related rehabilitation services in various settings. This person is responsible for the care of injured athletes from adolescents to geriatrics at community sporting events and on the practice and playing fields. The Athletic Trainer administers immediate first aid and develops a treatment program based on the nature of the injury. The Athletic Trainer communicates with the injured athlete, physician, coach, and family as appropriate.

Qualifications
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field such as Health, Physical, Education or Exercise Science Required
Work Experience- No experience required Required
- Experience with a variety of sports programs Preferred
Licenses and Certifications- ORTHO - Orthopedic Technician Orthopedic Technologist Certification Upon Hire Required and
- AT - Certified Athletic Trainer from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Upon Hire Required and
- Current Athletic Trainer license in State of Georgia Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
