Overview
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required
Work Experience- 2 years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required
Licenses and Certifications- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
- ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer registered in at least 2 specialties Required or
- RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer registered in at least 2 specialites Required
