Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year exp in one of the following: Required


• Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required or


• Clinical role Required or


• Related clerical accounting/finance/retail Required or


• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience Preferred


• Prior Epic experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required


• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred or


• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
