This role is responsible for installing and maintaining the telecommunications infrastructure for the Piedmont facility they are assigned to. This includes installing, maintaining and repairing telecommunications low voltage cable plant for the facility to which they are assigned. This position is accountable for record keeping of in-place cable/plant and assists in the basic programming responsibilities of the PBX and ancillary support equipment. This position will complete basic move, adds and changes as assigned in the Incident Management system. This includes the basic administration of the telecommunications software, including Cisco Call Manager, call accounting systems, voice mail and web conferencing systems.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of hands-on experience with the installation, implementation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, low voltage cable plant, and voice/data equipment, including current versions of Cisco Call Manager Required
• Previous experience in a hospital setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• Cisco Voice Certification Preferred
• Cisco Network Certification Preferred
