You will be required to work three 12-hour shifts and every other Sat/Sun
Responsibilities
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required
Work Experience
1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required
Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer Required or
ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required or
CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Required
