Operates ultrasound equip to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 4 years of experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties. (Does not include RVT) Upon Hire Required and


• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required


• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Preferred or


• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Preferred
