Overview
Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare. Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations.

Qualifications
Education- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Work Experience- 1 year exp in one of the following: Required
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required
- Clinical role Required
- Related clerical accounting/finance/retail Required
- 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle/Call Center experience Preferred
- Prior Epic experience Preferred
Licenses and CertificationsAdditional Licenses and Certifications- Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
