Overview
Supervises and coordinates the daily operations for fitness center staff. Possesses a working knowledge of exercise regimens and program. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, position is responsible for management of fitness center members and their exercise program. Manages the direction of the staff working in the Fitness Center. Assists Director of Rehab/Fitness with daily operational processes, departmental goals, objectives, benchmarks, performance improvement, human resources, and marketing. Teaches exercise classes, administering fitness testing and develops exercise prescriptions for members and patients within the continuum of care.

Qualifications
Education- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Exercise Science/Physiology or related field Required
Work Experience- 1 year experience working in adult fitness programs and teaching exercise classes to special populations in a health care setting Required
Licenses and Certifications- CPR certification Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications- Certification of American College of Sports Medicine Preferred
