RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Providing leadership and supervising the employees and daily operations of facility-based Patient Access Services. Functional areas that report to this position could include IP/OP and ED registration, Financial
Counseling, as well as others as assigned. The supervisor may service one or more hospital facilities.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of Revenue Cycle experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree from a recognized college or university is preferred.
At least five (5) years of related Revenue Cycle healthcare experience, preferably within PAS preferred.
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association, or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.
Previous Epic experience is desired.
