Role is responsible for Yoga and Water Aerobics
Required Hours: PRN Tuesdays (7:30am & 9am) and Saturdays (10:15am & 11:30am) along with other class coverage as needed.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Provides instruction in fitness and/or education classes to all age levels from pediatric to geriatric. Individual presents health education information and aids in development of new fitness and wellness related programs.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Must have either a 4 year degree in Exercise Science or related field; or have a current certification from a National Accredited Instructor certification.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least one (1) year of instructional experience in a wellness setting preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current field certification from one or more of the following organizations is preferred: ACSM, ALSM, AFAA, ACE, NDEITA or the Institutes for Aerobics Research. Certification in CPR required.
