JOB PURPOSE:
This position analyzes marketing, communications- and patient experience data and information and develops dashboards and data solutions aligned with and to support Piedmont Brand Growth initiatives. The role supports business intelligence functions within Piedmont, maintains confidentiality regarding patient, employee, and company information, monitors relevant technologies, and identifies opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics processes. The analyst works to increase Tableau usage among end-users.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year of experience with business intelligence tools and database platforms, preferably in a multi-entity healthcare provider environment, is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced proficiency in computer skills is expected, including working knowledge of spreadsheet programs, databases, programming languages, ETL, and decision support systems, especially Tableau and SQL Server.
Familiarity with statistical algorithms and packages as well as communication skills are also necessary.
Tableau certification is preferred.
