Hours:
Requirements: Proficient in general US scanning and moderate experience in Vascular US
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital based training program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of experience required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.
